PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a manager to accurately grasp the sewing machine operating condition at a place far from the sewing machine operation field. SOLUTION: The sewing machine managing system is provided with this sewing machine managing device 2 for controlling the operating condition of an embroidery sewing machine 1, and a terminal device 37 located at a place far from the device 2. The sewing machine managing device 2 is provided with a main control device 30 and a communication device 35. The main control device 30 reads the sewing machine operating condition including the error such as a thread cut, and stores the condition in a memory for accumulation. The communication device 35 connected to the main control device 30 is connected to a communication device 45 of the terminal device 37 through a LAN36, and the communication device 45 is connected to the terminal device 37. Consequently, the received past history data is displayed by a display device 44 of the terminal device 37.
