<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate for swash plate type compressors, which is inexpensive and excellent in the sliding characteristic, by forming a sliding surface by cladding a member which does not seize on a shoe of iron system, on a part serving as a sliding part of a iron swash plate, and further, provide a method capable of easily manufacturing the swash plate. SOLUTION: A swash plate for swash plate type compressors, is structured to be provided with an iron swash plate body 2, a sliding plate 3 made of Al alloy for forming the sliding surface 3 to be joined to the swash plate body 2. Then, a joining metal is allowed to intervene in the joining part of swash plate body 2 and the sliding plate 3 to join them to each other, and further an inclined diffusion layer in which the joining metals are diffused respectively in the swash plate body 2 and the sliding plate 3, is allowed to be formed in the joining part in which the joining metal intervenes. This method is a manufacturing method for joining the swash plate body 2 to the sliding plate 3 by allowing the joining metal to intervene between the swash plate body 2 and the sliding plate 3 in a molten state.</p> |
