PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail folder, from one end part of which a large number of papers or a doubled resin sheet pinching a large number of the papers therein are made to be easily inserted and from the other end part of which they do not come out once inserted and a file, in which the above rail folder is used and which can house recording medium sheets and is handy to store, control and carry. SOLUTION: In a rail folder 10, in which a large number of paper sheets can be directly or through a doubled synthetic resin sheet 30 inserted, the corner part of one surface side 11 between two opposing surfaces of one end part 101 of the rail folder 10 is cut obliquely so as to realize the easy insertion of the papers or the sheet along the other surface side 12.
