PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve valve type carburetor capable of easily obtaining an optimum characteristic curve of fuel flow in respect of a vehicle speed without separately mounting an auxiliary machine such as a power jet. SOLUTION: This sleeve valve type carburetor comprises an annular recessed part space S formed on an outer circumferential part on the same axis as of a main nozzle 8 and opened on a venturi part 5, and an air passage 10 connected with the recessed part space S, and also includes at least one small hole 12 for connecting a minimum diameter part 11 of an inner diameter part of the main nozzle 8 and the recessed part space S.
