PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an installing area for a direction changing part and to change a height of a conveyor thereat. SOLUTION: In this direction changing roller conveyor device to change a conveying direction and transfer an article X to a carrying-out side roller conveyor 3 crossing to a taking-in side roller conveyor 1, corresponding ends of the taking-in side roller conveyor 1 and the carrying-out side roller conveyor 3 are terminated at different heights to each other, and a pair of side part supporting rollers capable of supporting only both sides of a bottom of the conveyed article X are provided on the extension line of the lower side of the ends to position a lift arm 15b of a lifter 15 moved up and down between the side part supporting rollers. A lift roller 25 capable of supporting a center part of the bottom of the article X is placed in the lift arm 15b to move the lift arm 15b of the lifter 15 between the ends.
