PURPOSE: To make this material thermally processable without using water and base, to make the processing simple and to reduce a cost by forming the material of a base-carrying silver halide, binder and specific developer on one layer. CONSTITUTION: This material is formed of the base, carrying the silver halide, the binder and the developer expressed by the formula on one or more layers. In the formula, A and Q denote the carbon atoms necessary for completing a 4-, 5-, 6- or 7-membered alicyclic structure consisting of total <10 pieces of carbon atoms together, or A and Q are the same or different and respectively independently denote hydrogen, groups selected from alkyl having total of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alicyclic group having total <7 pieces of carbon atoms, etc. The image-recording material does not substantially contain water and base and may be thermally processed in the absence of water and base. |
