Multiphase lubricant concentrates for use in water based systems in the field of exploratory soil drilling

Multiphase lubricant concentrates with enhanced properties for use in aqueous working fluids, containing liquid or solid organic lubricants (O-phase) and emulsifiers that are finely dispersed in a closed aqueous phase (W-phase). The concentrates are characterized in that the system consisting of an oil phase, a water phase and emulsifiers has a phase inversion temperature (PIT) above room temperature and is produced by heating the multiphase system to temperatures equal to/above the PIT and subsequently cooled to smaller PIT values. The multiphase lubricant concentrates can be used as an additive to water based working fluids in the field of exploratory drilling of soil and further treatment of such drilling.
