PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for enlarge a display means, facilitate portability and reduce power consumption by attaching the display means for extracting, expanding and displaying image information light reflected on a reflection-type liquid crystal panel irradiated with the image information light by an optical means to a casing. SOLUTION: When an image display part 13 selects desired information from a memory 18, by operating an enter key part or receives the information of images or characters from an antenna 7, the signal of this information is supplied to a drive circuit 16A of a reflection type liquid crystal panel 16, plural pixel electrodes of a pixel electrode layer 16B are selectively driven and at the same time, light in three primary colors is emitted from a light source 14. This light in three primary colors is polarized and separated by a polarizer 15. Afterwards, it is made incident to the reflection type liquid crystal panel 16, optically modulated by an optical modulating layer 16C, afterwards, reflected by the plural pixel electrodes of the pixel electrode layer 16B, emitted above a transparent glass 16D of the reflection type liquid crystal panel 16 as the information light and can be displayed as the colored information light magnified by a lens 17. |
