PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection mirror which is high in efficiency, lessens the change in the colors of a reflection surface depending upon viewing angles and does not give rise to discoloration by forming a low-refractive index film having a refractive index of a specific value or below on a mirror finished surface reflection layer and forming a high-refractive index film consisting of a transparent dielectric thin film having a refractive index of a specific value or above on this thin film. SOLUTION: The low-refractive index film 4 consisting of the transparent dielectric thin film of the refractive index of <=1.7 is formed on the mirror finished surface reflection layer 3 formed on the reflection surface side of a substrate 1 and the high- refractive index film 5 consisting of the transparent dielectric thin film having the refractive index of >=2.0 is formed on this thin film 4. Any materials may be used for the base material 1, insofar as the materials are moldable to the shape of the reflection mirror 6 and generally, aluminum of a #1,000 system which allows easy spinning and plastic, etc., which allow designing are used as the reflection mirror 6. The mirror finished surface reflection layer 3 may be obtained by forming a thin film of a bright metal represented by high-purity aluminum by a physical vapor deposition method on an under coating 2 formed on the base material 1.
