The occludator consists of lower (5) and upper (26) branches connected to a pair of uprights (7, 8), each branch fitted with one mould (4) fitted to the branch and held in place by a rotary locking system. The branches are connected to the uprights by hemispherical projections (11) fitted into cavities which permit rotation and grooves for lateral movement. The locking system for each mould is in the form of a hole in the branch with peripheral studs engaging with a hub and cavities on the mould. In addition, the moulds are identical and each made in two sections.
