PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust plays of each motor to be within an allowable range, without having to correct for the plays of armatures measured by each individual motor with washers. SOLUTION: A splash ring 25 is fitted to the shaft 16 of an armature 15, so that the summed length of the lengths L2 between an E-ring 21 and both external end faces 21a and 25a of a splash ring 25a and a thickness L3 of each washer 23 and 24 becomes longer than a length L1 between the internal end faces 17a and 26a of first and second bearings 17 and 26 in a casing 11, formed of a yoke 12 and an end frame 13. The play of the armature 15 is adjusted to '0' by assembling the end frame 13 with the yoke 12, while the splash ring 25 of the armature 15 assembled with the yoke 12 is pressed with the end frame 13. Then the ring 25 is moved to the E-ring 21 side by a play L4 by moving the shaft 16 relatively to the casing 11, by the play L4 through pressing of the shaft 16.
