PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the novel appearance by dividing a reflector into plural sections by arbitrary sectional lines in design in a state that it is observed from a front face, and providing a stepped part of more than a specific value between the sections. SOLUTION: A step part D formed between sections is above 5 mm. A reflector 3 is arbitrarily divided into at least two sections 3a, 3b by using free curved lines. With respect to a surface of the reflector 3, the number of sections is not agreed with the apparent division number, and the division is executed from a designing point of view. When a lighting tool 1 for vehicle needs the low beam distribution, an area at an angle of ±15 deg. up and down with respect to a horizontal line from a center of the reflector 3 within a range of left and right width of more than 50 mm is free from the section, and its whole surface preferably belongs to one of sections. The novel appearance can be provided while considering the individuality of each vehicle, and the appearance effect of the total vehicle design can be improved. |
