PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a magnetic tape correctly to the prescribed position of a tape leader member by a method wherein large-diameter parts which are used to position the magnetic tape are formed in both end parts of a center pin member on which a magnetic tape is wound. SOLUTION: A leader member 9 is composed of synthetic-resin slender members in which both ends of an upper coupling member and a lower coupling member are formed to be arc-shaped and which are of the same structure. The members are fixed integrally to both ends of a center pin member 91 on which a magnetic tape is wound so as to be clamped and which is composed of a cylindrical pin. Flanges 91-1 and 91-2 which are used to regulated the upper edge position and the lower edge position of the clamped and fixed magnetic tape are formed near both ends of the center pin member 91. In addition, a coupling recessed parts 94-1 and 94-2 are formed, so as to be symmetric with respect to a mirror face, on opposite faces of the coupling members in such a way that they are cut out from sides on one side. Tip pins or hook-shaped parts of a derivation member on the side of an apparatus are coupled to the coupling recessed parts 94-1, 94-2.
