The invention relates to a continuous reactor for producing phosphoric acid from phosphate rocks. According to the invention, the reactor comprises a vertical cylindrical tank (2) which has some radial partition walls (3 and 4) connected to an interior cylinder and separating the inner space of the cylindrical tank (2) into a reaction zone (I) and a digestion zone (II), some foam breakers (6) being interposed between the agitators (1), the radial partition wall (4) being provided with an opening (a) for feeding the phosphoric acid, a nozzle (b) for extracting the recirculated phosphoric acid, and with a nozzle (c) for extracting the reaction product.
