PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nuclear medical apparatus in which an artifact generated in an RI image obtained by reconstituting an image on the basis of data about a detected radiation can be reduced sharply, by a method wherein a plurality of radiation detecting elements, in odd numbers are arranged in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction inside a radiation detector, and the prescribed radiation detecting elements are situated in the center of an effective field of view. SOLUTION: A radiation detector 40 is provided with a radiation detector array 40b which is constituted of a plurality of semiconductor cells. The plurality of semiconductor cells in odd numbers are arranged respectively in the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction (the X-direction and the Z-direction). In this manner, the radiation detector 40 which is made pixelwise is moved around a specimen P in such a way that the center 60a of its effective field of view is matched to the center Po of the specimen P, and a radiation from the specimen P is detected.
