Method for erecting the wall and foundation of a building, more particularly a small-house building, with the help of a building component construction, more particularly a steel wall framing unit construction. The invention is implemented by virtue of combining a wall framing unit and a foundation already at the factory into an integrated building component structure (1), wherein the height dimension of the prefabricated wall framing units is extended downward by the height of the foundation.
