A device for sterilizing taps by irradiation with ultraviolet light comprises a diffuser element (16) which is made of a material that transmits ultraviolet light, and which can be fitted to the end portion of the pipe (14) of a tap (13) and can be connected to a source of ultraviolet light (10) by means of optical fibres (11) in order to diffuse ultraviolet light onto the inner surface of the end portion through which the fluid delivered by the tap (13) passes. |
