The grinding process is applied to the liquid control contours of components of rotary disk valves. These contours are created by sliding grinding, producing a component, the liquid control contour of which is the control phase (14) of an axially extending control groove (4) in a regulating bush (2), bounded circumferentially by a control edge (12) and a groove edge (13).
