Mobile digital radio signal transceiver

The transceiver includes simultaneous end subscriber section functional units and radio transmission relay functional unit. The functional units are located in a shared casing, or are each in separate casings. They are interconnected via fixed electrical links, or directly via radio links. At least one unit may be mobile. The transceiver preferably comprises different relay functions, dependent on the transmit incoming functions. Preferably the transmission delay of the radio signals is reduced, the higher the radio reception time, in the relay operation. The transceiver preferably has an internal downtime which is also proportional to the radio reception time.
