SOLUTION: This housing container comprised a housing container body 3 which is capable of housing the powder, or the like, 2 like medicines, cosmetics, a fixed amount housing tray 4 which is disposed in this housing container body 3 and houses the fixed amount of the powder, or the like, 2 housed in the housing container body 3, an opening/closing lid 6 which is capable of opening and closing a take-out port part 5 for the powder, or the like, 2 in the housing container body 3 and a discharge mechanism 7 which can discharge the fixed amount of the powder, or the like, 2 housed thus far in the fixed amount housing tray 4 to the outside when the lid 6 makes the take-out port part 5 for the powder, or the like, 2 in the housing container body 3 into an open state.
