PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an accuracy of diluting ratio without increasing a cost and to provide a dampening water quantitatively diluting device for an offset printer having good operability by improving an accuracy of a liquid amount to supply a dampening water stock solution. SOLUTION: The dampening water quantitatively diluting device for an offset printer comprises a supply pump 12 for supplying a dampening water stock solution in a stock solution tank 11 to a dampening water tank 24, a flow pulse counter 14 for detecting an amount of the supplied solution, a valve (switching valve 22) for connecting dampening water stock solution supply piping 13, 15, 17, 18 to the tank 24 or setting them to a non-connected state, and a level sensor 26 for detecting a lower limit position and an upper limit position of the water in the tank 14. When it is detected that the water becomes the lower limit position, the solution is supplied to the tank 24. When a set number of pulses corresponding to the ratio of the water is obtained, the piping 13, 15, 17, 18 are set to a non-connecting state to the tank 24, and then the diluting liquid is supplied to the upper limit position of the tank 24 by the sensor 26.
