<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable measurements even near the epidermis on the pisiform and to wear an apparatus with high closeness to the part of a living body to be measured. SOLUTION: A wristwatch type wrist band 20 having a pulse wave sensor unit for detecting pulse rate by means of a reflective optical sensor, a housing 10 having the sensor unit built therein, and a wrist band 20 is improved. The wrist band 20 has band pieces 21, 23 wound around a living body, with the band piece 21 mounted closer to the elbow than is the band piece 23 in order to avoid contact with the epidermis on the pisiform when a biological information measuring apparatus is worn.</p> |
