PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the heat effect of holes adjacent to each other, to maintain the diameter of each hole, and to improve the accuracy in dimension of small holes even when a plurality of holes are opened with small pitches by opening the holes with alternate regularity by shifting the interval of the opening order. SOLUTION: In a method for punching small holes 2a in a synthetic resin elastic sheet 1 by the laser beam, the holes are opened with alternate regularity by shifting the intervals in the opening order. The synthetic resin elastic sheet 1 is curved at a laser beam irradiation part. A plurality of small holes 2a of substantially 500μm or under in diameter or in one side length are opened in the synthetic resin elastic sheet with the intervals of substantially 100μm.
