PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently widen an existing tunnel. SOLUTION: This tunnel widening device 10 is adapted for widening the side section of an existing tunnel 1. A bending boom type crusher 12 for demolishing and removing an existing lining, a drifter 13 for drilling the natural ground, an erector 14 for installing a timbering for a new lining, and a concrete spraying device 15 for spraying concrete to a tunnel inner face are mounted on a gantry 11 arranged on a widened section in a movable state in the axial direction of the tunnel 1. A crane for loading materials and apparatuses on the gantry 11 and a cage manipulator 17 on which a worker rides are also provided. |
