PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image preservability and transparency in the case of leaving to stand an image after recording at a high temperature and a high humidity for a long period and to improve ink absorbability and fixability, by incorporating a condensed product of a D-sorbitol and a benzaldehyde and a cationic resin in an ink receiving layer. SOLUTION: A specific cationic resin, and a condensed product of a D-sorbitol and a benzaldehyde are added at a specific ratio, thereby improving image preservability and transparency of an ink receiving layer and also improving water resistance, pigment suitability, ink absorbability and fixability. This is obtained by performing a synergistic effect of good ink absorbing characteristics by a crosslinked polyalkylene oxide resin and excellent water resistance of a formed image, good image preservability by the resin, excellent fixability and excellent transparency by the condensed compound of the D- sorbitol and the benzaldehyde without impairing their merits even in the case of using them together. |
