PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod easy to throw a device down underwater and also easy to withdraw a fishline. SOLUTION: This fishing rod has such a design or scheme that the inner circumferential surface on the end of foot side of the main rod 1 is provided with threads representing a female screw part to which a 1st turning support 10 is connected; and the inner circumferential surface on the end of ear tip side of a rod 3 within reach is also provided with threads representing a female screw part to which a 2nd turning support 11 is connected; the 1st turning support 10 and the 2nd turning support 11 are mutually turnable by the aid of turning support pieces 10c, 11c combined with each other and penetrated with a shaft 12; and an axially movable pipe member 15 is disposed on the rod 3 within reach.
