PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling box feed device for a pot seedling transplanter, designed to need no great force for seedling box feed by manual operation and facilitate withdrawal of pot seedling boxes as well. SOLUTION: This seedling box feed device has such a scheme that a connective rod 12 for transmitting the driving force of a driving mechanism and a feed arm 14 for making a vertical movement of feed pawls are connected via a link 21 to each other (respective connective shafts are indicated as A, B) and the link 21 is fitted with a manually operable seedling box feed handle 22; when a planting operation is to be conducted, the driving force of the connective rod 12 is transmitted via the link 21 to the feed arm 14, at this time, a pull spring 25 urges the link 21 downward, making the link 21 abut on the detour portion 12c of the connective rod 12; when a manual operation is to be conducted, the handle 22 is reciprocatingly turned left and right, the feed arm 14 is then reciprocatingly turned via the link 21; when the handle is turned right significantly, a seedling box and the feed pawl are disengaged from each other, enabling the seedling box to be withdrawn manually.
