PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a return roller mounting structure of a small belt conveyor allowing a return roller to be removed from a conveyor frame by a simple operation and allowing a washing operation to be performed easily. SOLUTION: This mounting structure is formed so that a locking metal bar 16 is installed on side plates 2b and 2c of a conveyor frame 2. The locking metal bar 16 comprises a patch plate, a bent part bent at right angle over the patch plate, and a projected part formed by cutting out a center part of the patch plate and formed at a specified interval with the patch plate. Also, a roller shaft 14a of a return roller 14 is supported pivotally on a bracket 15, and the bracket 15 is bolted fixedly to the locking metal bar 16. Thus, the return roller 14 can be fixed firmly to the conveyor frame 2, and the disassembly and washing can be performed easily.
