METHOD FOR DETECTING FINGERPRINT AND PALM PRINT ON PAPER AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly detect fingerprints and palm prints through ninhydrine reaction without blurring. SOLUTION: Dimethyl ether is added to aerosol packed in a spray container together with an aqueous solution of ninhydrine, and the content of the dimethyl ether is adjusted to adjust the amount by which the aqueous solution of ninhydrine is sprayed. The spray container has a configuration such that the solution to be sprayed is sucked into a spray button and leads to a nozzle hole via a plurality of branched passages. The orifice bore of the stem of a valve of the spray container is set at 0.41 mm or less to permit more effective atomization of particles. This allows clear fingerprints and palm prints to appear through ninhydrine reaction without blurring.
