PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject medicine having an action specifically accelerating the expression of an uncoupling protein(UCP) having effect which consumes excessive energy to generate heat and thereby prevents obesity by adding a conjugated linoleic acid as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This medicine contains a conjugated linoleic acid.. Examples of the conjugated linoleic acid include 9,11octadecadienoic acid, 10,12- octadecadienoic acid and their mixtures, and 10t,12c-octadecadienoic acid is especially pr<iferable. Further, an example of the form of the conjugated linoleic acid is a fatty acid, a mono-, di- or tri-glyceride, a sodium salt, a potassium salt, a calcium salt, a phospholipid, a lysophospholipid or their mixture, and a fatty acid, a triglyceride, a phospholipid or a calcium salt is especially preferable. |
