<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally operate an update function in the case that both a sleep function of a control system and the update function of a part operated, independently of the control system are used in common. SOLUTION: This information processing unit is a facsimile terminal, that is provided with a CPU 1 that applies arithmetic processing to various data, a clock circuit 15a that counts time, independently of the CPU 1, and an operating state changeover circuit 15b that switches the CPU 1 into a sleeve state or an active state depending on a prescribed condition. The CPU 1 as its execution operation is provided with a time update function, that updates a reference time obtained from the clock circuit 15a into a prescribed time and provides the output of the updated time. The facsimile terminal is also provide with a condition applying circuit 15c, that applies a return condition for the switching of the CPU 1 from the sleep state into the active state to the operating state changeover circuit 15b, when a time update time for executing the time update function by the CPU 1 arrives or a reference time by the clock circuit 15a reaches a prescribed time, before the time update point of time.</p> |
