发明名称 MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS PRODUCTION
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To magnetically separate recording tracks and to decrease track edge noises by making regions where ferromagnetic layers ferromagnetically bond to each other and regions where these layers antiferromagnetically bond to each other present and allocating the regions where the magnetic layers ferromagnetically bond to each other as a recording track. SOLUTION: At the thin of film making, the recording layers where the ferromagnetic layers 31 and 33 antiferromagnetically bond to each other over the entire part of the medium are locally heated, thereby, the diffusion of a nonmagnetic layer 32 is induced and the arbitrary regions are made ferromagnetic and a magnetically recordable state is attained. The regions of the recording layers heated by using laser power are annihilated by the diffusion of the nonmagnetic layers into the ferromagnetic layers 31 and 33, thereby, the ferromagnetic layers 31 and 33 are mutually ferromagnetically bonded and are magnetized in the same direction. A laser spot is thereafter moved apart prescribed intervals in the radial direction of the medium to concentrically heat the recording layers. The antiferromagnetism is maintained in the portions not irradiated with the laser, thereby, the ferromagnetic bond regions and the antiferromagnetic bond regions are alternately produced.
