<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize fixed length of variable length data and to realize information reproduction from the sub-encoding data when main information cannot be reproduced or at a wait time in switching the desired information. SOLUTION: A signal transmitter 1 is equipped with information source encoding devices 11-1 to 11-10 for encoding an information source into, for example, 10 Mb/s, information source encoding devices 12-1 to 12-10 for encoding the information source into, for example, 100 Kb/s, and a multiplexer 13 for multiplexing the sub-information. A signal receiver is equipped with a separator for separating the multiplexed sub-information, a decoder for decoding the main information, a decoder for decoding the sub-information, and a selection output device for selection outputting one or more than one decoded main information/sub-information.</p> |
