PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a surge voltage possibly generated in conjunction with accidental disconnection or imperfect connection between a secondary battery and a generator even if the disconnection or imperfect connection occurs. SOLUTION: Two sets of connection terminals each comprising a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal are formed on a secondary battery 22. A generator 30 is connected to the connection terminals 23, 24 on one side thereof, and a load 32 is connected to the connection terminals 25, 26 on the other side. Even if the connection at the positive electrode terminal 23 is disconnected or a connection fault thereof occurs, power is fed to the load 32 from the secondary battery 22, so that a surge voltage that may be generated on the generator 30 side is not applied to the load 32.
