METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ACTIVE SONAR RECEPTION PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active sonar reception process which can obtain dispersed values with a proper phase difference irrespective of the attitude of an object target and increase target detecting performance. SOLUTION: In this receiving process method, a sound pulse wave is sent out and a pair of replica correlating circuits 3-1 and 3-2 generate replica correlation signals according to external sound received by sound sensors that a couple of array receivers 1-1 and 1-2 have; and a weighted dispersed value-calculating circuit 6 weights the phase difference between the replica correlation signals calculated by the replica correlating circuit 2-1 and 3-2 according to the momentary value of the power of the replica correlation signal calculated by a power processing circuit 5, and a threshold decision processing circuit 8 generates a detection signal based upon the dispersed value.
