PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic image forming device which has high precision and a display of remaining developer quantity that is preferable for a user by controlling dispersion in the detected result of the remaining developer quantity due to variation in temperature. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a measuring electrode means 20A with 1st and 2nd electrodes forming a pair of electrodes to sequentially detect the remaining developer quantity in a developer container 9A and a remaining developer quantity measuring means calculating the remaining quantity of the developer in the developer container on the basis of an electric signal corresponding to electrostatic capacity between a 1st electrode and a 2nd electrode generated by application of developing bias voltage on a developer carrier 9a. Correction is carried out on the electric signal corresponding to the electrostatic capacity between the 1st electrode and the 2nd electrode according to the state of image formation of the electrophotographic image forming device. |
