PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make recalculable and addable up appropriate points for every customer for all transactions processed in a period which is previously set. SOLUTION: Each of transaction processing terminals 1-1 to 1-n generates purchase result data containing a member number and a commodity purchase amount in the transaction whenever the processing of one transaction terminates and transmits it to a controller 2. The controller 2 stores/holds purchase result data of the transaction processed in the prescribed period among purchase result data received from each of the transaction processing terminal 1-1 to 1-n in a purchase result file 5. Whenever the prescribed period passes, a commodity purchase amount total in the prescribed period is calculated for every member number from purchase result data stored/held in the file 5. The commodity purchase amount total is divided by a point reference amount and points in the prescribed period are recalculated for every member number. The points calculated for every member number are totalized and stored for every member number by a point file 6. |
