PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the low degree of freedom of design and to suppress a decrease in battery holding capability even when a large-screen display part is used by arranging a circuit board at a display part on the opposite side of a display window, arranging a battery cover made of a sheet metal component at the display part on the opposite side from the display window, and thus constituting a battery storage part. SOLUTION: A battery storage part 2 is constituted by arranging a battery cover 1 made of the sheet metal component at the liquid crystal display part on the opposite side from the display part. The battery cover 1 is connected and fixed onto the circuit board 8 by soldering or machine mounting. On the circuit board 8 in the vicinity of the battery cover 1, a positive contact 3 made of a sheet metal component which is bent in a specific shape is fitted. A negative contact 4 made of a sheet metal component is fitted onto a rear panel 9 in the vicinity of the battery cover 1 and circuit board 8. A battery is inserted from the right side along the length, i.e., as shown by the arrow A. When the battery is completely inserted into the battery storage part 2, the positive contact 3 elastically deforms and the battery is pressed against the negative contact 4 by a battery cover spring slide part 11. |
