PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a board holder which is easy to remove and yet less prone to come off when used. SOLUTION: A board holder 1 is erected by inserting hooked legs 2 and 4 into mounting holes formed in a mounting plate and has a groove 12 into which a board is to be inserted in the direction of the erection. The board holder is provided with a releasing operation portion 18 for releasing the hooked legs 2 and 4 from the mounting holes so that the hooked legs can be withdrawn, and the releasing operation portion 18 releases the hooked legs 2 and 4 from the mounting holes by elastic deformation so that the hooked legs can be withdrawn. In addition, elastic pieces 24 which limits the releasing operation portion 18 when the board is inserted into the groove 12 are formed so that the elastic pieces 24 are protruded into the groove 12.
