SOLUTION: A receiver 116 such as an earphone is provided with an optical transmission section 117 that transmits an optical signal. An optical sensor 111 receives the transmitted optical signal and since an automatic focus adjustment section 112 automatically adjusts the focus of a camera section 110 so that a user hearing a voice through the receiver 116 can be picked up with an optimum focus in response to the received optical signal, the user making a speech with a mobile video phone 100 is picked up automatically with an optimum focus.
