PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared boundary curve generating method capable of fast complementing the omitted shared boundary curve with simple processing. SOLUTION: In this shared boundary curve generating method of a three- dimensional shape processing system capable of handling a free-form surface, the three-dimensional shape data of two adjacent free-form curves of the two mutually adjoining free-form surfaces are acquired, respective geometrical information in a plurality of parameter values defined by parameter space between the two free-form curves is calculated from the acquired three-dimensional shape data (S1), the average value of the respective geometrical information of the two free-form curves at a plurality of the calculated parameter values is calculated (S3), and the shared boundary curve is generated on the basis of a plurality of the calculated average values (S4). |
