PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate specified directional components of various noises by giving magnetic anisotropy in the sheet plane of a composite magnetic sheet. SOLUTION: Flattened sendust (Fe-Al-Si) soft magnetic powder 11 and chlorinated polyethylene 12 are put into a press-kneader and are kneaded, and the obtained admixture is shaped in a sheet by using a twin roller to obtain a composite magnetic sheet. The sheet is cut into a plurality of squares, which are stacked and pressed to form a block of the composite magnetic material. The block is sliced parallel to a side surface to form square-shaped electromagnetic interference suppressor sheets. In the obtained electromagnetic interference suppressor, the flat surface of the flattened sendust powder 11 dispersed in the binder 12 is oriented normal to the surface of the sheet, resulting in producing magnetic anisotropiy in the sheet plane. A permalloy (Ni-Fe) soft magnetic powder may also be used. |
