PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily, quickly and highly accurately understand a direction or a position in a wide range around the user by utilizing user's sense of touch without restricting user's eyes, ears and hands. SOLUTION: The direction indication device is constituted of one or more sense-of-touch indication parts 101a to 101n, a direction input part 102, a position detection part 103, and a control part 104. The control part 104 determines a body surface of a user corresponding to a direction to be indicated on the basis of a direction indicated by the input part 102 to indicate it to the user and arrangement information in space such as the position or posture of the device itself detected by the detection part 103 and a sense-of-touch indication part 101 indicates a touch impulse to the body surface position. |
