PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce surface energy as well as to enhance the wear resistance of an image forming surface by forming a substrate having an electrically conductive outer surface and a layer containing a continuous matrix comprising a film forming polymer and a specified liquid polysiloxane which reduce the surface energy. SOLUTION: The xerographic image forming member includes a substrate having an electrically conductive outer surface and at least one layer having an exposed image forming surface and containing a continuous matrix comprising a film forming polymer and a liquid polysiloxane of formula I which reduces surface energy. In the formula I, (x) and (y) are each an integer of about 5-500, (n) is a number of 0-10 and R1 is selected from the group comprising groups of formulae II, wherein (z) is a number of about 1-30, R2 and R3 are each a 1-10C alkylene and R4 is H or a 1-3C alkyl.
