PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a manufacturing method, capable of providing a lightweight, small-sized, high-capacity, and high-reliability film-cover battery with high yield. SOLUTION: This film-cover battery has a plate-shaped electrode element 4 fitted with lead terminals 2a, 3a for external connection, and covering film bodies 5, 6 for sealing therein the electrode element 4 with the lead terminals 2a, 3a led out therefrom. In marginal parts 7 of the covering film bodies 5, 6 where they are fused to each other and sealed off with the lead terminals 2a, 3a led out, one covering film body 5, together with the lead terminals 2a, 3a is bent and displaced, for fusing and sealing, toward the marginal part 7 of the other covering film body 6 which extends along the plate-shaped electrode element 4. |
