RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, RETRIEVAL CONDITION RECEIVING METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval system or the like capable of reducing the load of a user for the input work of retrieval conditions. SOLUTION: A retrieval part 11 receives the designation of a retrieval word from an input part 15 and retrieves a document including the retrieval word from a document DB 13. The retrieval part 11 selects a word which has the number of appearance greater than a prescribed number as an additional retrieval word out of words close to the retrieval word in the document including that retrieval word and calculates the degree of correlation showing the degree of correlation between two words which cab e selected out of the individual additional retrieval words and the previously designated retrieval word. The retrieval part 11 performs prescribed relating of two relevant retrieval words in the order form the higher degree of correlation and hierarchically displays the related retrieval words and the individual additional retrieval words on a display part 17. The retrieval part 11 receives selective inputting from the additional retrieval words displayed on the display part 17 through the input part 15 and further performs retrieval after adding it to the said retrieval conditions.
