PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image display device that easily displays an external image signal while a television image receiving unit is kept connected to an antenna cable. SOLUTION: In the image display device, a television image receiving unit 7a can be removed from an image display device main body. The television image receiving unit 7a can be removed from a base cabinet 7b while an antenna cable 21 is connected to a tuner 14 of the television image receiving unit 7a, and a display panel 1 displays an external image signal from a computer or the like and received from a signal input connector 6 while a television image receiving circuit section is kept connected to the antenna cable.
