PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric refrigerator which materializes the lightening of the rate of used power, by saving the power consumption of the main power source at cooling operation of an electric refrigerator. SOLUTION: This electric refrigerator, having a freezer is provided with a thermoelectric converting element module 40 for generation, and the thermoelectric converting element module 40 generates power by utilizing the temperature difference between the high-temperature part of the refrigerator and the outside air, the temperature difference between the high-temperature part and the low temperature part of the refrigerator, the temperature difference between the low-temperature part of the refrigerator and the outside air, the temperature difference between a cold accumulator provided in the refrigerator and the outside air, and others. Moreover, the power generated in the thermoelectric converting element module 40 is utilized as the power for an electric apparatus (for example, a motor 16a for blower for circulation of in-refrigerator air) mounted on the electric refrigerator.
