The invention relates to a plastic filling material for soft containers, such as transport cushions, shapeable sacks, support cushions or the like; in order to prevent electrostatic charging, it comprises a mixture of polyurethane foam in the form of pieces which have been cut a number of times, with nonwoven polyester wadding in the form of short staple fibres; the proportion of the total density apportioned to the nonwoven polyester wadding is from 5 to 15 %.
