PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force control device including a brake booster and conducting a brake assistance control surely even when a negative pressure of the brake booster decreases. SOLUTION: A timer CT starts measuring an elapsed time (step 106) when a rising gradientΔPM/C of a master cylinder pressure PM/C becomes at least a threshold value TH1 (step 104). It is determined that an emergency brake operation was conducted, and a brake assistance control starts (step 112) when the master cylinder pressure PM/C becomes at least the threshold value TH2 (steps 108, 110) before the elapsed time CT passes.
